Nebulization Procedure due to the Current Covid-19 Situation – Attention all Nurses and Midwives

 

MUMN would like to inform you that contrary to the memo issued by the Infection Control Unit, the nebulisation procedure should only be done -

  1. wearing a N95 mask;
  2. wearing a surgical mask in a negative pressure environment.  

 If such PPE is not provided MUMN is issuing an Industrial Directive with immediate effect that the nebulisation procedure should not to be performed. This is a Health & Safety issue.
