MUMN cannot accept that the nurses in SVP are treated as second-class nurses from their counterparts from the Health Division. This year the Health Division provided no extra nurses to SVP with the result that the nurses who requested a transfer outside SVP could not be entertained.

 

Such releases were not issued by SVP since the agreement between the Elderly Division and the Directorate Nursing Service was not honoured by the Health Division.

 

Therefore, as from 7am of the 6^th October 2021, the following directives are to come into effect in all SVP including the new block:-

 

Nurses in all grades are to REFUSE external and internal admissions.

 

Charge Nurses, Senior Staff Nurses, Staff Nurses and Enrolled are not do any duties attributed to a Ward Clerk.
