The Malta Union of Midwives & Nurses (MUMN) has announced their newly elected council for the coming four years.

68% of the MUMN members voted in this election.

Paul Pace replaces Maria Cutajar, who chose not to recontest. He returns as president of the council five years after losing the post, and after having served as union president for several years.

Pace has for the past years served as an adviser to the Health Ministry. In a statement announcing its new council, the MUMN said that he had written to the CEO of the Foundation of Medical Services to resign that post “with immediate effect”.
